Questions for the Nation at NYWF 2017

What are the most important questions facing Australians – today and in the future?

We’re excited to announce the first event for NYWF 2017, presented in partnership with The Wheeler Centre, as part of their Questions for the Nation series across Australia.

What are the faultlines and tensions in Australian society, and where do we turn for fresh ideas for the future? Who do we want to be, and how are we going to get there?

This discussion will examine the present and future of the nation. Join author Brodie Lancaster, spoken-word poet Haleema, journalist Casey Briggs and creative manager Zana Kobayashi for their take on the most important question facing Australia today, before the microphone turns to you: what questions should Australia be asking?

This event will take place on Saturday 30 September at 2pm in the Hunter Room, Newcastle City Hall.

This is a free event, but please book here.

Stay tuned for our full program launch on Thursday 31 August. We’re getting very excited to share what we’ve been working on with you!
