Terrible Angels: Celebrating Queerness through Writing

Friday, September 30, 2016 at 2:00 pm

A facilitated discussion and workshop for queer and gender diverse writers – aspiring, emerging or experienced. Susannah Jack and Bastian Fox Phelan will share practical skills for both poetry (written and spoken) and memoir/personal narrative writing. This event is for anyone who experiences queerness, sexual diversity, gender diversity, or trans*/non-binary identity. We also welcome anyone close to someone who experiences these. The agenda for this event is to create an open, interactive, strengths-based environment to empower queer and gender diverse members of the writing/creative community, in a safer space.

Register your interest by emailing info@youngwritersfestival.org or joining the event on Facebook.

Please note limited capacity.
