Poets discuss their practice, aspirations and histories within the Australian literary landscape, considering how culture intersects with their experiences. Are expectations and histories of Australian poetry whitewashed? Are there challenges and contexts specific to writers of colour? What does this mean for our national understanding of what constitutes poetry, whose stories are told and where they come from? Is there a glass ceiling for Australian writers of colour?
