Angela Mahlatjie is an African-Australian emerging actor. Growing up in Botswana, she moved to the Pilbara at 15 and eventually to Perth. She graduated from WAAPA in 2016 and is now based in Sydney, she is very proud to be a woman of colour working in this industry. Theatre credits include; Once We Were Kings, Let Me Finish, (winning 2018 Judges award at the Blue Room) and Pulitzer Prize nominated, The Wolves (winning production of the year at the Blue Room, 2019). The Communists are in the Funhouse for Subiaco Arts Centre and numerously participating in Perth Fringe Festivals for improv show, Conversations, as well as the highly requested Let Me Finish. Film and TV credits include; ABC’s The Heights, ABC kids’ ITCH, I Met a Girl, and H is for Happiness. Angela has been nominated by Performing Arts WA for best newcomer.
