Jaala Hallett is a Dunghutti and Gumbaynggirr poet and arts producer based on Dharug and Gundungurra country in the Blue Mountains, Australia. With a genuine love for stories and language, through her writing Jaala explores her relationships to Country, Aboriginal identity and culture, sexual identity and expression, and our bodies and communities – as a way to contemplate and balance decolonised ways of living.
