Justina Ashman is a writer, editor, zine-maker and PhD candidate at Flinders University. Her research focuses on representations of queer love in popular historical romance fiction. Her writing has appeared in such publications as LIMINAL, Kill Your Darlings and Pencilled In. She is the co-founder of the grassroots film festival Test Fest Adelaide and was the 2025 Guest Curator for Context Writers Festival in Adelaide. She is a producer/recurring host of the Amy & podcast with author and Associate Professor Amy Matthews. She has previously worked as an editorial assistant at Kill Your Darlings and was part of the editorial committee for Splinter Journal.
