Justina Ashman

Justina Ashman is an emerging writer, editor and zine-maker based in Adelaide. Her writing has appeared in such publications as Kill Your Darlings, Pencilled In and InDaily. In 2015 she was awarded the Emerging Writers’ Festival Monash Undergraduate Prize for Creative Writing for her short story ‘The Space Between’. She is interested in fiction that explores complex intersections of identity through speculative worlds, be they apocalyptic or fantastical; nonfiction that explores the complex intersections of existing as a queer, mixed-race Asian-Australian; and zines that explore the complex intersections of cats and baked goods.
