Katherine Back is a writer, editor, publisher, reviewer, emerging social worker, abolitionist and end of life consultant based in Melbourne, Australia. She works in the intersections of queerness, death, abolition, and the mundane. She has written for Concrete Queers, The Independent Arts Journal, Querelle, Wordly and others. Outside of writing she works to help queer people navigate end of life and grieving, and is in Homes Not Prisons working group, fighting against the expansion of the prisons in Victoria. She is also co-producer and co-Editor of the collaborative zine Concrete Queers and comedy and arts publication The Safety House Guide.
