Liam Maguire is an Australian playwright, director and performer. He is a recent graduate of VCA’s Masters of Writing for Performance program as well as the Western Australian Academy of Performing Art’s Acting Program. His self-directed play Shepherd, a pitch-black satire on the cult of the modern world played to packed houses downstairs at the Belvoir St Theatre in March following the success of his is debut play WRATH, which played to rave reviews in Sydney and Melbourne through out 2019. He is an associate artist at Theatre Works in Melbourne and co-creator of theatre ensemble Broad Ranges and a graduate of ATYP’s Fresh Ink program. As a performer, Liam has worked professionally in a variety of stage, screen and voice over alike.
