Simone Corletto

Simone is an Adelaide-born, Sydney-based writer and PR professional who has spent four years toiling in the publishing mines, with an honours degree in creative writing and a Bachelors in science. She has ghostwritten four short novels of middle grade children’s fiction for Scholastic Australia. She’s also published short fiction in anthologies, Crush (2017) and Visible Ink (2017), and has other writing published in Empire Times, Double Helix, Rip it Up, Tulpa, and Junkee. Simone has spoken on and chaired panels at the Australian Short Story Festival, the National Young Writers’ Festival, and Continuum. You can probably find her cowering under the physical and metaphorical burden of her giant TBR mountain or exploring the intersections of capitalism and the military-industrial complex in superhero fiction.
