  • Workshop

PEN Sydney is hosting an event to provide information about its work and the work of PEN International. As part of the workshop, participants will contribute to PEN Sydney’s current campaigns by writing letters in support of Behrouz Boochani and other imprisoned or persecuted writers. NYWF participants will also be encouraged to become members of Sydney PEN and to take part in future letter-writing campaigns and the organisation’s other events and activities.

Are you coming?

Our festival is 100% free. It’s always free. But this year, National Young Writers’ Festival is asking for you to register for the festival. Registering for our festival means you can help us maintain and secure our ongoing funding. We rely on funding to provide this opportunity to artists and audiences. We need to understand who exactly we provide this opportunity to.

Can you support NYWF?

During registration, you’ll see an opportunity to buy a NYWF supporter ticket. If you love our festival, we encourage to help support our festival by becoming an NYWF supporter. The “ticket” doesn’t get you into anything extra, it’s a contribution to support the ongoing running costs of our festival: which is 100% free to attend!
