Hayley Scrivenor’s internationally published debut novel, DIRT TOWN (known as DIRT CREEK in North America), became an instant #1 Australian bestseller in 2022. It has been translated into multiple languages and shortlisted for a number of awards, including the Penguin Literary Prize, a 2023 Lambda Literary Award for LGBTQ+ Mystery, Best First Novel in the 2023 International Thriller Writers Awards, two ABIAs, an Australian Indie Book Award, and the CWA New Blood Dagger. Hayley holds a PhD in Creative Writing from the University of Wollongong and is a former Director of the Wollongong Writers Festival.
