Madeleine Dale is a Brisbane poet and researcher. She holds a first-class Honours degree and Master’s degree from the University of Queensland, where she is currently completing her PhD. Her first chapbook, On Fire with Dangerous Cargo, is out now with Queensland Poetry. Her manuscript The Water-Bearers won the 2023 Thomas Shapcott Prize.
